She may be a few years off turning 50 but Teri Hatcher still has the body of a woman half her age as these new pictures prove.
In scenes aired in the US on Sunday for the new series of Desperate Housewives, Teri, 45, who plays Susan Mayer, sends male patrons of a strip club into a frenzy as she takes her clothes off while performing a raunchy dance.
After finding out that husband Mike Delfino frequently visits strip clubs, she decides to teach him a lesson after he tries to convince her that going there with the boys is not a big deal.

But his pleas backfire after she goes to the club one night when he is there and decides a little performance of her own is in order.
She walks on to the stage in a lilac silk blouse and a tiny black skirt and proceeds to strut around the pole, leaving Mike utterly gobsmacked.
At one point, she hangs upside down with her legs around the pole and then spreads them wide, to cheers from the crowd, but anger from her husband.

As she tears off a tartan bustiere to reveal a red bra underneath, he rushes up to the stage to demand to know what she is doing, to which she replies: 'Giving people what they want.'

Then, as she starts to take off the red bra, he demands: 'Don't you dare! Susan, I'm serious!'
What happens next will be revealed on Sunday night in the US, but viewers in the UK will have to wait until the spring to see the latest adventures from Wisteria Lane.

The scenes also gave actress Teri a chance to show off the stripping skills she learned from Sheila Kelley, who runs a company called S Factor, which teaches pole-dancing workouts.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Teri, 45, said:'They have a whole routine of exercise based around stripping, stripping moves and pole dancing.
'But really what reached me when I started doing it was the inner confidence it brought out, not so much the exercise - although you have to be incredibly strong to do all the very advanced things.'

Although Teri hasn't taken classes from Sheila for four years, she said she called on her expertise to help her choreograph the scene as soon as she saw the script - and she added that she even managed to keep her sense of humour throughout.
She said: 'That's why I'm comfortable with it, because at the end of the day it's a comedic scene between Mike and Susan and that's what I wanted it to be.'

And she added that she loved her outfit, which came from the Los Angeles-based custom-made Trashy Lingerie store, and felt comfortable in it - after it was approved by her bosses.
She said: 'Because I work for Disney … at Disney, you're not allowed to have a wardrobe malfunction. There are no nipples at Disney."
